12 Major Principles of Animation

In 1981, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston released a book, The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation. This book introduced 12 major animation Principles that can help animators excel in multiple areas such as designing more accurate and precise animation, acing CSS motion, and multiple other animation areas. 1. Squash and stretch

12. Appeal

  • This principle follows solid drawing, personality, and easy-to-read design.
